Montserrat Caballé, she had such a beautiful voice!
Monserrat Caballé was born on 12th, April 1933 in Barcelona, She was a
very famous singer, she sang opera and she was known around the world.
Monserrat had a beautiful voice and she sang like a soprano.
She was famous for her technique and her interpretations of the roles of Rossini, Bellini and Donizetti, as well as her 1987 collaboration with Freddie Mercury.
with 11 years old she entered the Music School of Liceo, Barcelona.
She had 2 children, Bernabé and Montserrat Martí.
She sang a duet with Freddie Mercury called "Barcelona", which later became the official song for the Olympic games in 1992.
Finally, Monserrat Caballé died at the age of 85, She had been at the Barcelona Hospital since September for a gall bladder problem and She died on 6th October, 2018.
